Thirty years ago, as I finished the second issue of MODEL BY DAY, I'd already started on my second series THE GIRL. I decided to make an ad for it to go inside the back cover of MBD and it became the first published image of Girl.
On this anniversary, I recently colored the original ad-on a photocopy, of course-and they're presented here.
I never imagined I'd be this far down the road with this character, as well as Model By Day and, if I get through this virus fueled year, I'll have more anniversary pieces of both characters to share.
